How to add search engines to uTorrent I've had reports of people, that after downloading the new versions of uTorrent, no longer had their default search engines, such as mininova. So I wanted to show you how you can re-add in new versions.
Everything is very simple.
once opened uTorrent, just click on Options -> Settings
Click Advanced, and select Extras UI. Underneath is written the search engine:
Just paste the link below them, and you can download this new torrent.
Easy!
Here is a list of popular search engines:
BitTorrent
TorrentReactor
Gpu-z, through which you can extract your original bios from the card;
RBE
, Radeon Bios Editor, through which you can edit the bios;
AtiWinFlash AtiFlash 3.60
, through which you can flash from dos;
HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and boot win98 package, with which to flash usb pen.
(remember right now that if you have trouble viewing the images, click on it to open in a new tab)
1) After downloading GPU-Z, run it: select the green rectangle and pull bios, saving and making backups in a safe place. Once saved and backupped the bios, we can begin the phase
2) begin to change the bios using RBE: when we see all the empty fields ....... .
load the BIOS, seeing in the bottom left icon "Load BIOS" At this point we enter the page "Clock Settings" and begin to change voltages and frequencies reminding us that:
Clock info 00 is equal to BOOT -> so DO NOT touch it!
To find out what parameters change, we pressed the mouse as in the next screen:
As we see below on the left we have the chart of voltages that can set the card ......
I changed only the values of loading the 3D card (the higher ones in short )...... you know to find them, as they are the ones in red, clicking the mouse on "Power savings for notebook in battery mode ,.... .....
We modify the core and memory frequencies of only up to where we could have come with the default values of voltages!
NB: The sequence of frequencies, change from card to card sin'ora .... we did see a 4850, but with 3870, the situation is slightly different:
Everything ok?
Now let's change the fan speed: we can change the fan speed automatically by the program, click on: Or we change the parameters, or graphically, or by values.
Now we can move on to the next tab:
select "change to" These values "(of course I do not do anything, since I have already changed the card, but that value will increase the limit to overclock your video by CCC, which is very useful for hd48xx, as the core can be lifted only at 700MHz since )..........
If you do not want to change much, save the new bios with a different name than the original bios
(there is usually the name of the video card as the graphics chip RV770)
but that do not exceed 8 characters.
far so ok .......??
Now comes what is most problematic: flash from windows or dos ?????
I have always flashed from windows, but for those who want to minimize the risk of a flash, show the way in which we can also flash from dos ......
Before the flash, however, We installed a pen on the original bios from riflashare if no longer able to start our SO you remember what did I tell you to download these 2 files: HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool
package and boot win98 ?? well, now we're going to use them ...... installed the first file ..... Unpack the second file in a folder.
Impossessiamoci a pendrive (any size, so we have to put up about a mb file) and formattiamola with the HP utility check the option: At the end of the format, put in the pen and atiflash.exe the original bios.
This mode can be also used to flash the modded bios, but I suggest to keep it as a restoration, if the flash is successful.
Flash bios from windows: Winflash Unpack immediately to a folder. Without closing our RBE (but always after you save the bios on both Windows and on the pen), click the bottom option Acquire / flash
Now click on the "Browse .." and browse to the folder where it is unpacked WinFlash.
Now we have opened WinFlash .... click on analyze to see if there are potential compatibility issues with the bios amended (the flashamo usually happens if a bios from a different manufacturer than your card, usually enough to force the flash):
Now we can flash the new bios:
remember to turn off antivirus, firewall and sub open in the background, to minimize errors in flash.
Flash BIOS from Floppy: premise that by changing the Atiflash version may not work the controls data.
1) Meanwhile formatted a bootable floppy making ..... 2) We have the files in the atiflash.exe and atiflash.chg along with the floppy to flash bios (bios should be composed of less than 8 characters !!).......
3) Reboot the PC and start the dos floppy by changing the settings on boot.
4) Once you start DOS, type:
atiflash-p 0 nomebios.bin
(or. Roma, depends on the extent of the bios) / If you flash a different bios manufacturer, you force the writing, and write:
atiflash-f-p 0 nomebios.bin . (Of course, instead of the bios as you enter the name of your bios).
5)
Finished flash, reboot.
If the flash is unsuccessful, restart the know, you have to reinstall the drivers ..... then advised to get in safe mode and clean everything with Driver Cleaner 1.5. Once this is done, reboot and install the newest driver for your card ......... To test your new bios, download and install ATITool and ATI Tray Tools, and then go test for artifacts for an hour at least. If artifacts do not appear, you will have done so a good flash.
